【摘要】:Significance8212;Withtheincreaseduseofgeomembranesasabarriermaterialtorestrictliquidmigrationfromonelocationtoanother,aneedhasbeencreatedforastandardtestmethodtoevaluatethequalityofgeomembraneseamsproducedbytapemethods.Inthecaseofgeomembranes,ithasbecomeevidentthatgeomembraneseamscanexhibitseparationinthefieldundercertainconditions.Thisisanindextypetestmethodusedforqualityassuranceandqualitycontrolpurposes,itisalsointendedtoprovidethequalityengineerwithsufficientseampeelandsheardatatoevaluateseamquality.Use8212;Recordingandreportingdatasuchasseparationthatoccursduringthepeeltestandelongationduringthesheartest,willallowthequalityassuranceengineertotakemeasuresnecessarytoensuretherepairofinferiorseamsduringconstruction,andtherefore,minimizethepotentialforseamseparationwhileinservice.Theacceptablevalueofadhesionmeasuredwill,ofcourse,varyfromproducttoproductasaresultofdifferentformulationsandtypesofproducts.However,onceaproductisestablished,minimumvaluesofseparationforcecanbedeterminedandagreedtobyproducerandconsumerandbothcanmonitortheinstallationtoassuremaintenanceoftheagreed-uponminimumvalue.1.1Thistestmethoddescribesdestructivequalitycontroland/orqualityassuranceteststodeterminetheintegrityofseamsproducedusingtapedseamingmethods.Thistestmethodpresentstheproceduresusedfordeterminingthequalityoftapedseamssubjectedtobothpeelandsheartests.Thesetestproceduresareintendedfornon-reinforcedandreinforcedgeomembranes.1.2Thetypesoftapeseamingtechniquesusedtoconstructgeomembraneseamsincludethefollowing.1.2.1InseamTapeThistechniquerequiresthemembranetobeoverlappedaminimumdistance.Thetopsheetisfoldedbackandboththebottomsheetandthetopsheetareprimedwithanadhesiveprimer.Theprimerisallowedtoflash-off.Thetapeadhesiveisappliedtothebottomsheetsothataminimumofthetapewillextendoutfromunderthetopsheetwhenlaidoverthetape.Thetopsheetisallowedtolayflatoverthetapeandthereleasepaperisremovedbypullingitata45to90degreeangle,keepingthereleasepaperflattothesurfaceofthebottomsheet.Theseamareaisthenrolledwithasiliconesleevedroller.1.2.2CoverStripTapeThistechniquerequiresthemembranetobeoverlappedaminimumdistance.Anareaeithersideoftheseamedgeisprimed.Theprimerisallowedtoflash-off.Thecoverstripisappliedwiththeadhesivesidedowncenteredoverthetopsheetedgewhileremovingthereleasepaperasitproceedsalongcenteredovertheedgeofthetopsheet.Thecoverstripisthenrolledwithasiliconesleevedroller.1.3Fornondestructivetestmethods,seePracticeD4437.1.4Thistestmethodisapplicableforseamingprocessesthatusetapeadhesiveasaseamingmechanism.1.5Subsequentdecisionsastoseamacceptancecriteriaaremadeaccordingtothesite-specificcontractplans,specifications,andcontractorqualitycontrol/contractorqualityassurance(CQC/CQA)documents.1.6Incaseofamaterialspecifictestmethod,thistestmethodshalltakeprecedence.1.7HazardousMaterialsAlwaysconsultthepropermaterialsafetydatasheetsforanyhazardousmaterialusedfortheproperventilationandprotection.Theuseoftheoveninthesetestmethods,inthispractice,mayacceleratefumeproductionfromthetestspecimen.1.8Thevaluesstatedinbothinch-poundandSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasthestandard.Valuesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthe......
