【摘要】:1EquipmentcoveredbythisstandardThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletoequipmentdesignedandintendedtobeconnecteddirectlytoaTELECOMMUNICATIONNETWORK,regardlessofthesourceofpower.ItisintendedfortheenhancementofproductsafetystandardssoastocoverhazardsassociatedonlywithconnectionofequipmenttoaTELECOMMUNICATIONNETWORK.Thisstandardcoverssafetyrequirementsandcompliancecriteriaunderthreeheadings:a)protectionofSERVICEPERSONNELworkingontheTELECOMMUNICATIONNETWORKandotherUSERSoftheTELECOMMUNICATIONNETWORK,fromhazardousconditionsontheTELECOM-MUNICATIONNETWORKresultingfromtheconnectionoftheequipment;b)protectionofequipmentusersandequipmentSERVICEPERSONNELfromvoltagesontheTELECOMMUNICATIONNETWORK;c)protectionofthetelecommunicationwiringsystemfromoverheating.ItisassumedthatadequatemeasuresaccordingtoITU-TRecommendationK.11havebeentakentoreducethelikelihoodthattheovervoltagespresentedtotheequipmentexceed1,5kVpeak.Ininstallationswhereovervoltagespresentedtotheequipmentmayexceed1,5kVpeak,additionalmeasuressuchassurgesuppressionmaybenecessary.2AdditionalrequirementsRequirementsadditionaltothosespecifiedinthisstandardmaybenecessaryfor:-equipmentintendedforoperationinspecialenvironments,forexample,extremesoftemperature;excessivedust,moisture,orvibration;flammablegases;andcorrosiveorexplosiveatmospheres;-electromedicalapplicationswithphysicalconnectionstothepatient.3ExclusionsThisstandarddoesnotapplyto:-protectionofequipmentusersandequipmentSERVICEPERSONNELfromhazardsarisingintheequipment.TheUSERandequipmentSERVICEPERSONNELareconsideredtobeprotectedfromhazardsarisingintheequipmentifitcomplieswitharelevantsafetystandard;-functionalreliabilityofequipmentandTELECOMMUNICATIONNETWORKS;-equipmentusingaTELECOMMUNICATIONNETWORKvoltageinexcessofthelimitsforaTNVCIRCUIT.4BasicsafetypublicationThisbasicsafetypublicationisprimarilyintendedforusebytechnicalcommitteesinthepreparationofstandardsinaccordancewiththeprincipleslaiddowninIECGuide104andISO/IECGuide51.Itisnotintendedforusebymanufacturersorcertificationbodies.Oneoftheresponsibilitiesofatechnicalcommitteeis,whereverapplicable,tomakeuseofbasicsafetypublicationsinthepreparationofitspublications.Therequirements,testmethodsortestconditionsofthisbasicsafetypublicationwillnotapplyunlessspecificallyreferredtoorincludedintherelevantpublications.Wheretherequirementsofthisstandarddifferfromtherequirementsoftherelevantsafetystandard,therequirementsoftherelevantsafetystandardtakeprecedence.WherethispublicationspecifiestheuseofBASICINSULATION,andothergradesofinsulation,orPROTECTIVEEARTHING,thedetailedrequirementsoftherelevantproductsafetystandardapply.
